I've been a long time NBA2k fan so I was looking forward to this one on the Xbox one. Over I like it, but something have been removed, like creating a player in GM mode. The Career mode added some drama but it doesn't make any sense. I score 20 pts 5 asst and 2 steals and the media love it but I get dressed down from the coach and lose minutes. It's like it doesn't matter what you do the script is the same in the game. As a Six man I'm avg 12 pts 5 asst and 2 steals and the coach is pissed at me. I can't say I'm enjoying this game as much as I have game in the past. I think they went too far with the Career mode, and limited the rest of the modes.
The graphics in the XBone is very well done, the faces now don't look like zombies on the court and you can see expressions clearly on their faces. There are a lot of weird glitches in the graphics, but is easily overlooked. There are also a ton of small bugs in the game. During game place the announcers will say that you're leading when you're behind, and say you're doing things or did things you never done.
The voiceovers are pretty much the same as last year, which is very noticeable in the MyCareer mode. Though there are a few new ones, including King James voice, the main character voice is the same. The actor does a great job, just wished we had others to pick from.
Again I really enjoy the game, but with limited choices in the game GM mode, and the lack of creating your own player in GM mode. I give the game a good but not great rating. Maybe the poorest rating I've ever given this series.
UPDATE: Since I got the game a few weeks ago, the 2KSports servers have been down about 25% of the time. I'm dropping another point for that.
