Someone got bribed...again
MJ - Making a character model for the greatest of all time is one thing, but making him and his rivals' tendencies and models so ridiculously authentic is another. 2k11 got it down.
Getting to the rim- No longer can I hold down the boost button, run along the sideline and get to the rim at will, you will HAVE to break down your defender and make plays.
Amazing Isomotion - A feature that NBA Elite 11 based there whole game around is just a small part of 2k11 and feels like it dominates any other in game dribble movement.
Online - The only thing I can complain about here is that about 80% of the ppl on here would pick the Heat and own me...I hate that. They actually improved the rank and league matches a whole lot....it flows much smoothly with the same graphics you'd have in the offline mode, 2K11 didn't have that. So far I haven't been disconnected from any of the mode either..
Level of detail - Again, the presentation is phenomenal. When commentators talk about previous games, side-by-side it is simply realistic. Most players have their unique reactions. Eg, when Sasha Vujacic got called for a foul, i couldn't believe how accurate his reaction was, cussing under his breath, throwing down the ball etc...
Jordan Challenge - This can be a game on its and I'd still be willing to pay retail price. Simply amazing to hearing the Intro Music for the Bulls, and facing the dominating Teams during the golden era (that Jordan dominated)...
On top of that, add a deeper My Player mode (i actually enjoy the complexity), draft combine (unlike last year), mediocre NBA Blacktop and an amazing soundtrack....
In conclusion, I hesitate to give this game a perfect 10 because I know 2k out do themselves each year, I'm hoping it's the same case next year...it will be hard to top this one though.
