A very fun game, but faces repetition.

User Rating: 8.5 | Naughty Bear PS3
Now Naughty Bear is a game with an awesome concept, you are Naughty, a social outcast who is hated by the other bears of Paradise Island.

Story: The story in this game has a saturday morning cartoon feel to it. A bear named Daddles doesn't invite you to his birthday party. But you decide to go bring him a gift anyways, the other bears laugh at it and Naughty heads home crying. But this is the last time Naughty is made fun of, so he gets his weapons ready and heads off for revenge.

Characters: Now first off the main character is Naughty as I already mentioned is a social outcast, other than that there is a total of 10 specific bears with seperate personalities that effect the way you punish them in-game.

Graphics: The graphics aren't great but at the same time their not terrible. It has a very cartoon-ish feel which is a nice change from most dark, grey graphics from games nowadays. One thing I should point out is the animations, the bears move very realisticly (As real as a stuffed bear can move anyway) according to what you you do, if they run too long they have to stop to catch their breath and so many other actions.

Weapons: This game has a vast amount of weapons, from Axes and Machetes to Lamb Leg and a Revolver. Each weapon has its own ultra-kill (Which is kind of like a Mortal Kombat Fatality) These are very fun to watch but the fact that there is only one per weapon is kind of annoying.

Gameplay: I love the gameplay in this game, I like the choice of stealth or full blown attack on the bears, I love setting traps in crowds to scare the wits out of other bears, I love the ultra-kills with the many weapons and I love driving a bear to the point of suicide. Now that thats out of the way, lets talk about the downsides. The camera can be very annoying in some spots but usually is just fine. The games suffers from pop up and framerate problems, but not enough to break the game. The one major downside to the game is the repetition, I beat the 7 episodes having a blast but while doing the other challenges is fun, it gets pretty repetitive. I don't mind that there is only three areas, the games states why it has only those, so that you can learn the best places to earn naughty points.

Replay Value: The games has SO MUCH replay value. I mean I've spent so many hours trying to get platinum naughty cup to unlock new costumes that all have different statistics, which in return could help you clear one of the 7 challenge types (Killer, Insanity, Speed Run, Invisible, Friendly, Untouchable, and Top Hat)

Verdict: Overall, this game is very fun and very replayable. Until you complete the full story mode and are working on the challenges, then you start to feel the repetition setting in. This is not a bad game in any way just a little more variation would of been welcome.
