This could Have been a great game. It had my attention in The E3 coverage. Anyone with a itch to bring painful, uncalled for, torment to stuffed animals would jumped at the chance to do all the nasty things they want to, without the worry of being sent to the psych ward for psychological evaluation. I got a kick out of the web series Happy Tree Friends. Hearing about this game, I foolishly thought that, I too would be able to mimic or at least try to duplicate the same horrific acts. But, no! I was far, far, away from that kind of gaming bliss... Much to my dismay considering, I payed retail price for it. Say this game was a dissappointment, is a understatement... This was more like a BAD blind date. Lets begin with the ball busting, shall we?
It has a cool children's, story book vibe to it but, you won't even notice it because of the camera. I was willing to let that slide because most 3d games suffer from the bad camera angle curse. But the clipping issues? With the technology of today, that shouldn't be a Issue. Especially if the game has a fairly decent budget. Considering you will pay close to $50 for this game, that is unacceptable. The Tropical setting and music gets old too. Considering you will be subjected to 7 episodes of the same old crap, You will either be bored to death or, annoyed at the fact you got to do the same stuff over and over in different ways. As the game goes on, so do the cheap kills, forcing you to do the level over again. And it has to be done over again so that you can unlock the other episodes. Not fun. In the end, I have more fun playing baseball with a sledgehammer and beer bottles or playing in heavy traffic on the freeway than playing this game... Your Inner Demon will die of hunger if, you are counting on this game to feed it.
