NASCAR 05 Chase for the Cup is a great NASCAR racing game. It is EA's first NASCAR game to have 4 different racing series: Nextel Cup, Busch, Craftsman Truck and Featherlite Modified. There are also production cars to race in like the Dodge Viper, Chevy Corvette, Ford Mustang and much more. It also may be the only game I know of to have Grand-Am Rolex Daytona Prototypes. Career mode is fun and you can either sign contracts or buy your own team. Managing the team is fun and you can choose your manufacturer, paint scheme, sponsor and even the price on your merchandise that the fans buy. The career mode even features a trophy case for each series so you can admire the hardware you've won. NASCAR 05 has the most deep career mode of any of the NASCAR games that EA has released so far. There are a few minor lows though. In the Nextel Cup series Jeremy Mayfield is missing as well as the Pocono Raceway. These aren't that serious and they don't take away from this game's fun racing. Even though this game is a bit old now it is still one of EA's best NASCAR games.
