Nascar 2000 for the N64

User Rating: 7.5 | NASCAR 2000 N64
Nascar 2000 for the Nintendo 64 is a game that is very realistic. Tires pop at even the slightest tap of the wall. The physics are well done and the game prides itself in its realism. This is, unfortunately the downfall of the game. The gameplay is much too realistic, forcing the player to play by the games rules and not allowing for creativity. You use a total of two buttons: go and stop. If you want to play with a manual transmission then you get to play with four buttons: go, stop, shift up, and shift down. The graphics are poor at best and after about half an hour of playing, assuming you can stay interested that long, you will begin to get a splitting headache. The sound is what you would expect; bad. Overall, I would advise you to stay away from this game and warn your friends and family away from it as well.
