Story is uninspired, Missions are downright repeatitve
The story is that of Naruto. The 12 year old boy who everyone hates wants to be acknowledged so he wants the Hokage rank. This game plays a little on the story but its just Naruto taking down bad guys or taking goods to different towns. The best aspect of this game is the boss battles.
At its best it is a beat em up game. You travel to towns via a map and you get thrown into a small area and take down useless ninjas who couldn't fight their way out of a preschool. The only challenging aspect of this game is the boss battles, Their the only reason you should buy this game.
Graphics are alright and maintain goo quality through the game and are visually appealing.
The skill plate where you get a shape and you can fill it up with powerups in a triangular shape is something very new and i like that aspect of the game as it gives you control of how you mold your character into the best he can be.
All in all you have to be a very dedicated fan to beat this game more than once in saying that i will defiantly play 2 when it comes out but will rent not buy this time.
