Still waiting for Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 5.

User Rating: 8.5 | Naruto Shippuuden: Narutimate Accel PS2
Naruto Ultimate Ninja 4 met my expectations for it. Even though it didnt have many Shippuuden characters, it had heart and nice gameplay and graphics. They are now a big selection of playable characters (52), and more fun gameplay.

Gameplay:
The graphics for Naruto Ultimate Ninja 4 are at the height of the limit for the Playstation 2. They are very clean and nice and exceed the graphics of Naruto: Broken Bonds for XBOX 360. The actual gameplay includes button mashing and countering your opponents attacks while trying to unlock your ultimate jutsu to defeat your opponent. The Naruto Ultimate Ninja series didnt have all the action of a fighting series untill this game came out.

Master Mode:
Master mode is an RPG free roam story line game mode. At the start, you play as Naruto Uzumaki, in the middle of training with Jiriaya. You come across a village which is about to sacrifice a girl for the villages sake. The girl sacrifice: Aoi is determined to walk into the Crystal Caves and give her life to "Black Shadow" to save the village, Your job is to try and stop her. After that, you come across the main story line for Naruto Shippuden. After 2 and a half years of training, Naruto Uzumaki comes back to the Hidden Leaf Village to find that he is still not the most accomplished ninja in the village. This RPG mode is really fun but gets repetitive after a while when you have to beat up the same old bad guy while walking forever to get to different villages. The graphics however as I stated earlier, are at the limit of the PS2.

Hero Mode:
Hero Mode is basically a story line of young Naruto Uzumaki's memorable battles. To unlock scenarios in the story, you must find "Pieces of Memory" in the Master Mode RPG. Peices of Memory are found around the villages but can get irritating to find when your trying to unlock a different story.

Shop:
Once youve collected enough money, you can buy varuis items at the store whether it be figures, ultimate jutsus, guide ninja, etc. After you bought a certain amount of items, you will be entered in a "lottery". The lottery is a basic mini game af memory. There are 2 lose cards, 2 win cards, and 1 Jackpot card. Try to memorize where each card is, after theyre flipped over, they will be rearranged and you must try to get either the win cards or the jackpot cards.

The Good:
Nice clean graphics, fun and long RPG mode, more gameplay options make the game more fun to play, big RPG world to explore.

The Bad:
Some missing Shippuden characters, repetitive RPG options

Well, i do recommend this game for Naruto fans and non-Naruto fans alike, It gets really fun to play after you get the hang of it.
