Huh?

I really don't know what to say about this game. The genre is the first thing that baffles me. It's sort of lost in the mix between platformer and RPG. Not like some of the later castlevania games, but in some other weird way. The second thing is the setting. It's kind of like alice in wonderland with a Tim Burton-ish twist. Not that that's a bad thing, just another one of the game's oddities that make it what it is. I should note that if you can't read Japanese, don't attempt to play this game. You'll get lost very quickly, as many important aspects of the game require you to understand messages of characters. One thing I truly appreciate about this game is the music. It's fun, it's whimsical, it's upbeat, and just plain great. The gameplay is quite fun, too, if you know what you're doing [and I do mean that quite literally]. The graphics are decent, and about as god as you would expect. Every other part of the game is weird, but it's that weirdness that defines the game. If you like unique and underrated games and can read Japanese, by all means, play this game.
