If you already concluded that Empire Total War is the good RTS game for you, well think agian!

User Rating: 9.5 | Napoleon: Total War PC
Good: Inviting feel of the environment, Astonishing graphics, Massive revamp in cannon shots, Contemporary User Interface, Depicts real life battle effects

Bad: Few playable factions, AI is so easy to beat (even at expert level), Short Campaign

A new breed of total war game had arrived and it contains an explosive contents for you to be hooked on it. Napoleon Total War offers a wide range of new animation, graphics, story lines and effects that will absolutely soothes your taste as a real time strategy player. Following its predecessor Empire total war, Napoleon Total War engine was optimized for the players to get the best out of their system, what I mean here is this game supports dual-core CPU's so don't be afraid and get worried because this game will absolutely run in your system.

If in 2009 Empire Total War runs the show and you think no game will contest it, well in 2010 there is and it's the Creative Assembly/Sega newest flagship Napoleon. In Empire Total War you don't even care if your general will die or just from the battlefield, well in Napoleon think again. Positioning will be tested for it will dictates who will win the game. Numbers will help you but a great tactic will bring you to a victorious battle. A massive change on the effect of cannonballs will for surely catch your attention. Graphics is well designed and the environment will get you stick to your monitor for hours and hours. A new option in multiplayer allows you to play as verse or co-op in land, naval and seige battles including the first campaign multiplayer (which is new for Total War series). Though some of its features will amaze you, some of its content will disappoint you like the number of playable factions in custom battles and multiplayer games, the AI is so mediocre in playing style. Artificial Intelligence is always the downside of every Total War series (in my opinion) and here you will see that there's a lack of improvement in that department and the endless bug in multiplayer, the infamous "Error, No response from host" is still there.

In conclusion, Napoleon Total War will surely hit your interest if you're a Total War series collector and fan and if you are looking for a Gunpowder Age theme game, well this game is what you're looking for. It is the innovated version of Empire Total War but in a specific era in history which is all about the title of the game "NAPOLEON.... Total War".
