What with Myst V: End of Ages on the way, I figured it was finally time to hunt down the 10th Anniversary collection of the first three titles of the series on DVD. Now, bear in mind that I already own Riven, but the obnoxious multiple CD format is a majorpart of why I never got terribly far in it. All that tedious disc switching... It seems like thirty seconds of every seven minutes I played that game was dedicated to disc swapping. The DVD editions are much more desirable - no swapping at all. Consequently, I installed the first in the series - Myst: Masterpiece Edition - tonight, and I've just finished it. Yes, I knew about the "gotcha" endings in advance, but I played through the whole thing and got all three endings anyway. Edit: portpunk is right - there are four endings. I didn't think to try linking into D'ni without the page that Atrus needs.
