Great game, that brings you into the college baseball atmosphere.

EA Sports really delivered a fantastic game with MVP 07 NCAA Baseball. At first I was a little weary about it being a college baseball game having metal bats and all, but after 20 minutes of playing I fell in love with the game. I just couldn't get enough of it. As always the graphics are great, but you have come to expect that from the EA baseball games since MVP Baseball 2005 had great graphics too. The little animation cut scenes are cool too, like when you end an inning or finish a game. I love the celebration scenes to for after winning the College World Series, or hitting a walk off home run. They add to the college atmosphere that this game creates. Another cool new feature is the unlockable challenge items in dynasty, this makes you want to continue playing the dynasty mode. Since you can't get all the items in one year, you have to keep playing if you want to get them all. Probably the best new feature in the game is the Rock and Fire pitching. It is so much better than the classic pitching meter. With this method you use the analog sticks and you can control the velocity and movement of the pitch.This lets you control how much you want that curveball to break or how fast you want your fastball. This is key in big situations during close games.
I would have to say that the only bad thing about this game is that it is only avaliable on the PS2, so if you don't have a PS2 you have no way of getting this game. But other than that it was a great game, much better than the 06 version.
