Simulates Real Baseball Beautifully

There are three main arguments that I have heard that say why one should dislike this game. 1. The new controls are hard to master. 2. The atmosphere of the game is unreal. And 3. There should be more teams and stadiums. Lets start with the controls. The load and fire batting system is much like the way one bats in a real game. The same is true of the precision throwing controls. The controls are somewhat hard to master, but if you have played the game of baseball before, the controls seem more natural. The atmosphere could be more enthusiastic and crowds could be louder. But the college atmosphere is different than a big league atmosphere, and the atmosphere is almost exactly like it should be. Yes, many of the stadiums are fictional, but I am sure EA Sports will do something about creating accurate stadiums. There are over 100 teams, so you should be able to play as a reasonably good team, unless you want to play as an Ivy League team.

The create-a-player mode goes very in depth, and you can even customize how the face looks. Create-a-stadium mode could use more variety, but it is still worth a try. Dynasty mode is the real strength of this game. Recruiting is simulated accurately, and the menus are easy to navigate.

Overall, I would recomend this game to any true baseball fan who wants to play the game it should be played.
