Mortal Kombat...just saying the title brings back amazing memories for me. I'd wager that this game sparked a passion in the hearts of tons of young kids just like it did for me. Comparing it to today's games would be ridiculous as that was a completely different era. However, for the time period, it was pretty awesome. The characters were cool and different, and who didn't love performing a fatality? If my sega controllers weren't shot, I'd plug it in and play right now. Today's MK games vary in their degrees of awesomeness, but none of them will never be as amazing to me as this game was and still is.
