Well done Netherealm. I attended a midnight release and thoroughly enjoyed playing the game before getting my official copy and going home with it. Been watching all the videos and especially stoked for Jason to enter the arena.
Pros -
great solid mechanics but doesn't feel broken from the original games
graphically pleasing and fluent
New characters are a great way pay homage to the classic fighters and keep the game feeling fresh
sound is well done with a good balance of music to speach ratio
Cons -
so far my only con, the point value given for winning matches. I heard they were higher and were dropped recently to a really low point, I think this need to be tweaked back up some as they seem to be really low now and could take 4 or 5 matches to unlock a low amount Krypt tombstone.
