The game gave you that old Nostalgic feeling towards the DC characters and the story mode is very well done. try it out!

So I bought this game just because I'm a DC fan but i have enjoyed past MK games in the past (last one was Deadley alliance which I loved). Not big on fighting games but this one does stand well. I understand why Die-hard MK fans can't stand this game since there is very little blood. Though I still like that in arcade, as you beat your opponent down he starts to looked F'd up. Alot of cuts, bruising, blood, and gashes but ofcourse to the hardcore this is watered down. Now the DC characters are given their fair share of nice attacks, combos finishers, and such. Each super hero or villain has their unique moves that make you feel that Nostalgic feeling from the cartoons we used to watch. I personally love the Story mode and liked most of the voice acting. Alot of people state the the voice acting isn't great but I do disagree.

You can tell the acting gets better as the story progresses or as you move on in chapters. I'm guessing the actors started to feel more confident in their roles and went with it. My favorite Chapters are around Joker and Lex. Those two have some of the best acting skills in the game. Joker has you laughing along at his stupid and very corny lines he says. Lex just seems all Boss all the time. Very buisness and very serious, you can tell the hate he has for superman which was nice. I played it for the story but the arcade is pretty good. you can play against your friends or family. I play with my bro which makes the game worth it in cost. there is alot you can do too in challenges like test your might and so on. I bought it for around 20 dollars so I very much felt the gameplay payed off. not a bad price if you get it for around the same. I do see why people who bought it for 60 felt cheated but if you can get it cheap it's a good game to have around. I have enjoyed it and continue to play the story mode which did make sense on how the worlds came together.

I also want to add that the graphics do look nice and make you feel as if your playing one of the old MK arcade games(except higher graphics ofcourse). The DC characters look just as good and the detalis on each are well done. It's not Breathtaking but it does look pretty good non the less. characters look real and the move-sets are creative.

For me it was fun and i did truly enjoy it. Give it a try it's not expensive so go ahead and buy it. It's interesting seeing two different worlds collide.
