All of the Characters in the Roster aren't new. The Secret Character 'Chameleon' is planned to the Sega Genesis version of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 and does not have Bio or Ending. He is Only an fused version of all male ninjas. (Rain, Noob, Reptile, Ermac, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, and Smoke. Noob Saibot and Rain are characters from Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, and are playable on the Sega genesis and SNES versions. The truly new character of the Game is the Secret "Khameleon" but she is only playable on the Nintendo 64 Version.

Are a few differences between the Playstation 1 and the Saturn version. There are some Graphical differences. But the Saturn Controller is better for Fighting Games.
