The game that started my hate for Mortal Kombat.
First off, I don't really care about how much the graphics and sound suck. Don't get me wrong, they do suck but I don't care. It seems like when I say the graphics and/or sound is bad in this paragraph, I say that the gameplay is good in the next one, but no. The gameplay sucks as well. It's not exclusive to this game either, it seems like the entire series is plagued with annoying gameplay. The thing I don't like about a game like MvC2 is that a button masher can get really far, and the thing I don't like Street Fighter 2 and 4 (and probably 1) is how you seem to be repelled whenever you hit someone. Mortal Kombat combines these two things, and then just adds gore hoping that people will think it's awesome.
The sad part is, people do. I won't go into how stupid it is to think a game is cool because of blood but I can't say the things I usually do because this paragraph is usually the positives. Sadly, I can't think of any positives. It has a bunch of characters, that's about it.
In conclusion, this is my least favorite fighter I have ever had the displeasure of playing. Everything about it is completely dreadful. I'd seriously rather play ClayFighter 63 1/3 instead of this game. It's really that bad.
