During 1996 Midway made a announcement that they were going to release two MK games, one was a verstion 2 as I call it of MK 3 Known as Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, the other one is what got alot of peoples ears perked up, Including Mine it was known as Mortal Kombat Trilogy, I remember getting that as my very first game. They made it known this game would be a complimation of Mortal Kombat 1-3 it was spose to have every player possible it did and than it didn't. the N64 version had all but the bosses that would be saved for the Playstation Version but that's ok, because it still offers 26 playable characters if I remember correctly. which for the time being was a huge ammount of players. Plus imo they also fixed several areas that was messed up with UMK 3 so that's a plus I found it easier to do the fatatalites the only downside is as with UMK 3 the cheat system was messed up, you could put in both codes and it wouldn't unlock the full array of cheats. I'm ok with that because I still had alot of fun with this game. It was clear this game had more attention paid to it than UMK 3. I give it a 10 out of 10 because eventhough the game still had it's flaws it was one of the best fighters on the N64. It gets a Rating of M for Violence/Blood and Gore
