While this is far ubove the quality of Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance, the game fails in some aspects overall

I thought for sure that after Deadly Alliance had hit the consoles the MK series would be left for dead and would never be worth picking up again. That was before this title hit the shelves.

While the game has some strong points, the most notoriusly bad thing is the relative easiness to defeat these so called bosses. Sure you can get killed by these guys, but it's hardly a real challenge as you can find yourself having your opponent to half or more damage before dying on your first try. On top of that, the real annoying thing (to me at least) was to get from 58% completion only to have the boss left at the end, how can a boss (or three in this case) leave you with nearly half the game to beat? Travelling back on your steps in order to go in sections you previously couldn't access becomes a bit of a bore as the opponents don't really get any more complicated.

My usual time spent on a game such as this pushes in the 10-15 hours realm, but i basically spent no more then 6 hours defeating this on the normal setting.

If you can pick this up cheap, or would rather rent it, go for it, you will not be dissapointed, at full retail price however, you may feel completely robbed.
