You have a lot of game modes here, This also goes for the "Premium Pack Edition"

It's been a while that I didn't had the pleasure of playing a MK game and I had the Premium Pack edition, that comes with the regular game, plus an extra disc with the "Arcade Perfect" version of Mortal Kombat (1), that's pretty amazing to go back after almost two decades, wow, this is old, and I'm describing this to myself as well.

The Kombat portion of this game is pretty good, now each player has three fighting modes, unique to each one and they all have a different mechanism and combos so if you would like to master this game this will consume your time quite a lot. The game it's pretty fun and quite challenging in the beginning but the initial impression that I had was, I miss the digitized characters over the 3D renders, that I know where current to the time it was released, but it quite fells less impressive than the initial wow I had when I saw MK on the arcades.

I like the fact that while you play, there are currency prizes that allows you to purchase the collectible items on the game, what to be quite honest are quite bad, like they wanted quantity instead of quality, but also it felt that the whole MK production aspect is quite amateur when you see the behind the scenes.

There are a few game modes, the classic fighting engine that we're used to, a new "Konquest" game, that to be nice it feels like a PS1 budget title but it's quite entertaining to see how the character Shujinko was created and I really felt bad for him, just play this half mode if you have the patience and you'll unlock this character to play in the fighting mode. Oh, bare in mind that this character has no special moves. Tho other game modes are a "chess" type game, and a puzzle fame, which are both pretty good.

You get a lot of content with this game, so it's hard not to recommend this title, you definitely would have some fun one way or the other.
