The best 3D Mortal Kombat to date, it has some of the MK2 nostalgia... in fact it's the 3D MK2.

This is not that type of "deception" or it's literal meaning, nope. That's the outcome of the story, not the game. This game is awesome on many levels, it is badass, it has progressive stages & some classic stages return & some of the stages were greatly redone, stage deathtraps, 2 fatalities per character, combos & to put pride & honor on the table in the time of defeat... HARA KIRI.

The konquest mode is nice, but it was quite short indeed though you have to return to unlock some of the game secret characters, etc. & the history is cool & it gives you a hint that the evil side from the outworld.. will win this tournament or better said... This Chapter in mortal kombat.

the puzzle kombat was funny, no different than the puzzle fighter though, except a fatality for the defeated opponent.

The chess kombat was indeed sweet & not to mention that it has online play.
