This is it, best fighting game i've ever played.
That being said, the actual game blew my head off. This game has it all. Ok i'm a long time fan of the MK franchise but i stopped being a fan pretty much after MK3 and it's derivations (troligy, UMK3 etc). I haven't enjoyed a mk game after that.
This game brings back everything we loved from the originals ones and adds an incredible level of advancements in terms of graphics and playability.
I believed they achieved a great level between crowd pleasing - fan service, and enjoyment for newcomers to the franchiese and also has a great balance between difficulty for experienced fighting game expersts and newbies.
Things that make this game just awesome:
First of all, story mode, this mode walks you through the story arch of MK 1, 2 and 3 in a very inmersive manner, making you learn to play with all the "good" (and not so good) characters, fills you with a lot of lore and details about the story and showing you a lot of awesome things like for example the human versions of the already known cyborgs from MK3 and how they became cyborgs.
Another awesome addition is the challenge tower, it's a REALLY fun, innovative and interesting way to unlock pretty much everything in the game while you learn to master all the characters.
Now the addition of tag teams and the ability to play 2 vs 2 on the same console it's another incredible feature in this game.
I honestly believe that any fighting game fan (not only MK) should try this game, i can assure you are gonna love it. As i said before this is... an instant classic.
