Title shows no mercy in this reboot

User Rating: 8.5 | Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition X360
Really sad how long we had to wait for a solid brutal and charismatic fighting on our last generation consoles. I remember how we played SoulCalibur 4 when we wanted to beat some guts out of eachother, but with all respect to the series, not many like anime styled games, friends wanted something more brutal and old-fashioned. A lot of folks satisfied themselves with MK vs DC fighting, which was fun and solid, but seriously, that's not what we wanted.

After many presentations and trailers we slobbered hard, waiting for a release, and were quite sure that game will blow up fighting market to hell, and we were right.

Mortal Kombat got it's phenominal reboot and it deserved it. Game looks just like everyone wanted and waited, it's brutal, styled, blooded and satisfying, with solid content and re-mastered atmosphere of the original series.

Gameplay:
I'm not a looped fan of this reboot as many others, but i liked it for sure. Game plays almost as like as i played MK II like more then 10 years ago, strong and cold-blooded. Player vs. player is a gorgeous fun, but player vs. AI is broken as hell, you can defeat enemy with only 1 combination by doing same stuff over and over again, which is very upset. Shao Khan is another story to tell, he is the easiest opponent here. But still, this game wins thanks to player vs. player battles, 8 out of 10.

Graphics:
Pretty good, brutal picture is a pleasure to watch here cause it's done just as good as it needs. Some skins look pretty outdated though, but still nice visuals and effects included. 8.5 out of 10

Sound:
Solid work here, fighters acted nice, environment sounds good, live stage with fight on it in front of your eyes and ears. 9 out of 10

Good:
Varied fighting with many old loved fighters mixed with brutality, blood, explosions, charisma and boobs.

Bad:
Opponents AI and kinda dumb story mode.

Verdict:
Mortal Kombat 9 made itself the most famous and maybe the best fighting game to date, it rocks, blows, kills and plays very well, must have game for parties and pretty much everybody.
