In Japan it's known as 'Kaite Shabette Hajimeyou (Write Speak Start)!: Monster Farm DS,' and it will be released August 7th 2010 and in North America on August 3rd 2010. What game am I talking about you ask? I'm talking about Monster Rancher for the DS system and it has all of that memorable gameplay of fighting and creating monsters that you love.

This game is number 13 in the Monster Rancher installment and is probably the most fun the DS has seen in a life simulating videogame. It does enable single and multiplayer mode, following the character that is never seen on screen, but does converse ever so with his apprentice known as Cleo. The game takes place in a region known as BOMBA in which you -through the menu options- breed, raise and fight an array of colorful monsters.

You are able to create monsters by either drawing one in the 'Magic Field,' or by using your microphone, to recite a spell. In order to put your monster to the test, you compete in tournaments and achieve a higher rank and gain money at the same time.

The graphics definitely assist the gameplay in that they fit the storyline being portrayed. It's a really fun and simple title, that does tend to bring back a couple of old memories, so buy it now and let nostalgia take over.
