So you've got a butter knife and a giant slobbering gangly beast comes romping toward you . . . what do you do?

So I saw all the hype, I watched all of hte build up. I read other players reviews. I found it was multi-player in house, and online (Wii is free online in US). I'm like, "Alright let's do this."

I had a buddy come over and we each created a character and fired up the arena portion.

The only thing I hope happens down the way is that you can load up your own character for multi player. But i do like that you can save your character in your Wii-Mote

I digress . . .

Anyway we take on the first monster . . . wiff, swap, slam . . . we miss he sends us flying. We start to dodge more and more, and then we start connecting. The monster is bouncing around going through his attack progressions, the controls become easier over time. Finally the beast falls we scavange our stuff and move on to the next mob. The monster is stronger and comes with friends. He flies and has other nasty combos.

On to the review: The controls are wii controls (unless you are using the classic/pro) there's a bit of intuitiveness in the sword swinging. The multiple weapon classes are awesome, and feel very different in fights. The graphics are great on the wii, the transition through the boards are smooth. Fighting is fun as a whole. The dodging, the swinging the gunning, it's just fun.

As far as Wii gamse are concerned you will love it. Keep at it, and if you haven't pick it up. The online can be awesome :-).
