Halfbrick returns with a brand new game...and passes with flying colors!!!

User Rating: 9.5 | Monster Dash IOS
Let me start by saying this: Monster Dash, in my personal opinion, is better than Fruit Ninja, Halfbrick's other game. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed Fruit Ninja, it is still probably one of my favorite games I own on my I-Pod. However, Monster Dash is so more unique and easier to pick up and play. I know it is hard to get more simplistic than Fruit Ninja, but this game actually only has two controls. And it is really unique in its own way. On to the review!

Gameplay: It is astounding how they did this. What you are trying to accomplish in this game is try and run as far as you can without falling, hitting a building, or losing all your hearts. It is really simple, and although the game only has one mode, it has five (so far) different lands to travel through! Demon Dynasty (Great Wall of China), Tomb Town (Pyramids), Vampire Kingdom (Transylvania, I think.), Yeti Heights (North Pole), and Zombie Metropolis (I think of it as New York.)

Controls: The controls for this game are very, very easy to pick up. Want to jump? Press the left side of the screen. Want to shoot? Press the right side. However, sometimes these controls don't always respond well when the game gets heated up. This has caused me to die multiple times

Sound/Music: I love the music to this! It suits the game perfectly. I also like the weapon noises, they sound realistic

Graphics: Very colorful and awesome. Halfbrick pays attention to the detail of everything they do. It is brilliant!

Unlockables/Extras: There are, unfortunately, no other modes but the classic game. They need to make multiplayer where you need to race to a certain destination. However, the classic game entertains so much it barely matters.

Replay Value: You can play it over and over and over again!
