Modnation Racers is an awesome game which is a must-have and is probably the best in the kart racing genre.

When I first saw a Modnation Racers preview in E3 2009, I was amazed. I am a big fan of the kart racing genre and have played games like Mario Kart. Sony, this time has totally owned Nintendo. The game has its own charm and after you play it for a while you just get addicted to it. Imagine making your own karts, applying decals, coloring it to your hearts content etc. You can even upload it to the internet and see people rate it. Now, even the load time problems and the hard difficulty levels of the game have been fixed with the latest update. The graphics are simply beautiful and very detailed and the track designer is fun and easy to use. The only thing that was a disappointment to me was the frequency of the frame drops in modspot( the place where you roam around and see the top karts, etc. ). It is a place where I love to hang around because you can talk to other modnation racers. Other than that I haven't experienced any frame drops. The career mode is fun and rewarding and also the multiplayer is great.
This game is a must-have for any Kart racing fan and also for people who just want a good racer.
