The game itself proves to be one of the best MLB games on the Wii, despite some moderate frustrations.

User Rating: 7.5 | Jikkyou Powerful Major League 2 Wii WII
POSITIVES: Outstanding gameplay; Easy-to-learn controls; Cute bobbleheaded players; Superior variety and game modes gives you a lot to do; Great use of originality.

NEGATIVES: After you understand the controls, they get simplistic, and the game gets too easy; Commentor makes you want to mute the TV; Doesn't express the Wii's motion controls very much.

Being offputted by MLB Power Pros means you're missing a lot of amazing experience. The dynamic duo of 2K Sports and Konami has definitely proven to be an excellent team. The game itself proves to be one of the best MLB games on the Wii, despite some moderate frustrations, including the annoying commentor and lack of the Wii's motion controls. That being said, MLB Power Pros's outstanding gameplay, unique bobbleheaded figures, and amazing use of originality are the best features in the game.

The game includes 12 modes, including, Season, Success, Wii Remote, Exhibition, and a lot more. Season mode is one of the best features because you are able to choose your favorite team, rise through the ranks, and win the World Series (My team is the Reds, and I'm already 27-12). The originality is what makes this mode exciting, and it does a good job at describing players, teams, and stadiums. Success mode is an RPG in which you are a baseball player dreaming of making it on your favorite team, (Whatever you want). Practice your skill, survive through college, get a girlfriend, have sex! (JK) Wii Remote mode is the only mode that requires only the Wii Remote to be played. This is perhaps the most disappointing mode because it doesn't express the Wii's motion sensitive controls like it should. You can shake the Wii remote to run to bases or in the field, but that's just a trick because you're not really running. The computer handles all the fielding and the running, so the shaking is basically useless. There are some other flaws, too. For example, once you understand the controls, the game gets too easy and the controls get simplistic. Plus, the commentor can get so annoying, you just wanna mute the TV just to make it all stop.

Aside from that, MLB Power Pros is a fun, engaging, and addictive baseball game that really is for kids of all ages. I give it a 7.5 out of 10. Have fun! And don't forget to comment!
