Just an FYI if you haven't played the game yet and are used to the the default Guess Pitch:

Now, you must correctly pick BOTH type and location to get the indicator and beep BEFORE the pitcher throws the ball. If you only choose 1 of the two correctly, nothing happens.

You can choose to guess ONLY PITCH TYPE if you want:
*If you guess PITCH TYPE correctly, the ball will glow red AFTER the picther has thrown it to indicate the type you guessed was correct.

-OR-

You can choose to guess ONLY PITCH LOCATION if you want:
*If you guess PITCH LOCATION correctly, the location indicator will flash red AFTER the picther has thrown it to indicate the location you guessed was correct.

These changes obviously will make things tougher if you are used to the '12 version of GP. Only time will tell if it's better/more enjoyable this way.

I miss the old days where it would actually show you the location of the pitch if you guessed it correctly.  Made it much easier to walk ... I wish they would go back to that or at least make it an option ...

Yeah it's not so bad, actually. Feels better when you get a hit now - feels like you've really earned it. Makes you work the count now as well.

^ THIS. I only liked the Guess Pitch when all you did was guess the pitch (not location) and it would either tell you the location, or not.

I assume you can still turn Guess Pitch off, right? It was the only way I could hit in '12.

You can do that, change guess pitch to classic 1/4.
