Mlb 10 the show is the one of the most stunning video games I have ever seen. Sometimes I get confused with the real games on tv and mlb 10 the show, it's that's real and detailed. Being an ex baseball player(high school,college, minor leagues) I've been looking for a game to tickle my fancy, something to bring me back to the good old days of playing ball and this is the game. I love the Road to the show format because it really shows the trials and tribulations of trying to make it to the big leagues. I wish they would take advantage of the eye toy for your custom made ball player, that would put it over the top for me. The presentations are always on point. The show gives you a sense of really being at the ball park, you can almost smell the grass and hotdogs at the stadium. I really enjoy the detail of the stadiums,players and fans in the crowd, unlike madden football. The fans really get into it and that just makes the overall experience much more pleaseant. The gameplay is the best it's been in the series. The physics of the ball and the way players move make this a game beyond it's years. I just love it when I whack a hard line drive into the gap or a ball fly over the outfielders head, that's real-life stuff and I love it. There's only a few pet peeve's about this game that kinda get me irratatted. First the ghost players, what I mean by that is players running through each other, that's been a problem for a while and hope one day they could fix that. The sky also needs to be a little more detailed for me. We need some stars up there sometimes, a moon, fog, rain , bright sun etc.... The glitches in this game I can live with, I don't like them but I will survive. Overall though this is the closet sports game that iv'e played over my video game life to the real thing and hope one day I can say this game is perfect in the near future.
