Play Ball!!
Catcher -calling the shots,this is a nice addition so if you're playing with the Yankees or Minnesota you know Posada and Mauer won't steer your pitcher wrong.They focus on your strongest pitches so time to time if you're fast ball is your strongest you might be called to throw more of those.But if you feel you can slip a slider in there,than shake of that suggestion and throw that.This feature helps since your pitcher in my opinion won't get as tired as fast like in last year's version.
Batting-another little feature that was added that in a clutch situation...
two outs,bases loaded and you come up to bat.The controller will start mimicking a "heartbeat" until the first pitch is thrown,I think it continues but I got a line drive at the second pitch.
Fielders move like their counterparts,have a fielder that is prone to errors,yep...they bring that quality to MLB 07 as well.
Running the bases-pretty much unchanged,but don't get arrogant because the fielders will pick you off in a heartbeat.
Gameplay-AWESOME....plays exactly like they do in the Pros
Announcers once again bring a feel of professionalism and realism to the game as well.
Only quirk I had with this game is the graphics, you can tell the PS2 is starting to show it's age.Really does need a facelift but that's what the PS3 will hopefully bring next month.
