This is the best Major League Baseball game ever made.

To start of the graphics are excelent in this game. The players look like their actual real life counter parts. But the animations arn't that good. Sometimes if a guy strikes out he will walk bavk to the dug out. He will let the bat go out of his hands. The bat will stay in mid air. Also in the pirates stadium if you hit a homer to out of the park the ball will land on water but it will bounce around like it is still on the ground. The gameplay is really what matters in a game and the show definitly brings the best. The pitching is like MVP with hot and cold zones. You have a meter to control the power and accuracy of your pitch. Feilding a fly ball is confusing sometimes becaues you will have to get under a picture of baseball spinning around. Hitting is also like MVP. You pull the analog stick in the direction of where you want to hit the ball to. Sometimes the umpires will make really bad calls to and it gets annoying. Base running is definitly easy to get used to. The franchise mode is definetly deep this year. You can do so many things like setting cosecions and making ballpark upgrades. The new rivalry mode is cool to but it dosn't have alot of content in it. Carear mode is were you can create your own player and make him a big star in the big leage. This year the announcers are great. They are spot on with everything they say. There is a new member in the brodcast booth this year. Between both new baseball games this year MLB 06 The Show is definetly the best choice for any MLB fan. You wll not be disapointed.
