ok.. so you have seen it in bargain bins and looked at the reviews... you are not convinced. a 7 out of ten game? maybe. maybe not. the story mode is short and utterly linear. scrambling over roof tops and through offices running from the police and injustice, your fingers desperately trying to keep up with your brain as your eyes glimpse another impossible jump and acrobatic combination. this game comes alive in 2 side modes where you compete against the clock (and yourself) in time trial , where you must beat a certain time to
earn stars with 69 stars the ultimate goal. this is extremely difficult to accomplish as the button combinations and sheer mind boggling timing required made this gamer self harm on many occasions. yet... just one more try is the mantra of the 69 star collector ....sneaking across the final checkpoint a fraction of a second under the time limit will have you jumping around the room with satisfaction and delight at your new found skills and sheer free-running daring do. the other time attack mode sees you up against the clock again but over much longer sections, some taking 10 minutes to complete, which requires good memory skills as well as hand - eye co-ordination. the story mode is fun but the real challenge is against yourself and in more ways than one...
