Usually, the Power Ranger games are beat em ups and you play in Ranger form. This game is a mixture of styles of side-scrolling and beat em up games. In this game you start as humans with less strength. The six difeent characters have their own style of moves. However there is a serious unbalance in characters and only 2 characters are worth taking. The game is pretty straight forward. You go forward beating up enemies usually with one or two hits (which is somewhat a total letdown). You gain powerups enough to become the ranger and be more powerful. As you collect more powerups and fill up the power meter the ranger starts to attack with weapons and the damage goes fairly high. The game seems to have faster framerates than other games making gameplay quite fast. The game emphasizes on platforming and you may have to shift from up platfrom to down platform and vice versa using L and R buttons. Music is awesome with some good 90s style beats. The game is however not worth to buy but you can try this game by renting.
