Just when an accomplished video game player like me thinks that he has seen everything, along comes a brand new video game that throws a curve-ball that I could NEVER see coming! :shock: This game absolutely harkens back to the good old glory days of the N.E.S., where all you needed to play a game was 8-bit graphics, simple control schemes, synthesizer music, and a plot BADLY translated from Japanese into English, (but in this case, completely INTENTIONAL!) :lol: There are three different characters to play as, but I liked playing as Mighty No. 9 the best. Sure, he looks, feels, and plays an AWFUL lot like Mega Man, but that is TOTALLY not a bad thing; it actually works to this game's advantage. The game looks, feels, and plays like a long-lost classic from the late 1980's era of N.E.S. games, particularly due to the fact that the bosses have recognizable movement patterns and must be utilized to a player's advantage in order to get through each stage and achieve ultimate victory! :!: This is the game retro N.E.S. players have been waiting for, a chance to relive the 8-bit N.E.S. games WITHOUT having to dust off the old cartridge and fire up an old N.E.S. unit! This game deserves to be played for its charm and its unique remix of 8-bit video game adventure days. :idea: Enough said, true believers! ;)
