The game that represents modern day arcade racing.
You start the game in San Diego and go through the city and beat all the tournaments and all the rival racers around the city. This game has many varieties of bikes and cars. There tuners, muscles, sport bikes, choppers, SUV's and exotics. As a bonus extra, each city you finish, you unlock the police cars the city has and there also the police bike that can be unlocked.
The downsides about this game is the vinyl system used ( you can only have one type of vinyl ), the graphics aren't that good, the car sounds are basically reused one different cars and some of the races are too easy. The upside to this game is that there a lot of cars/bikes to choose from, a lot of modifications for the cars and the game lets you feel how fast your going.
If this game had the mcla exotic car modifications, the graphics, Los Angeles itself and the cockpit view it would the best racing game out there. It would be awsome to have 5 cities and over 80 cars to choose from. Overall the game is kinda old and if you want to buy, go ahead but you will find why it is one of the best.
