Metroid Prime Hunters provides a solid first person shooter for a portable system. Impressive controls combine with a good multiplayer mode to create a great game, and the story mode isn't shabby either. The variety of multiplayer modes, maps, weapons and characters provide a unique game every time, and combat can be tailored to fit your preference. The story mode provides a good amount of gameplay that is challenging but not impossible. The variety of weapons allows you to have reasons to revisit worlds, giving it some of the backtracking element common to the console games from this series. I've found it to be an enjoyable game, even if it isn't quite on par with the Metroid Prime console games.
