Three words to sum up metro, post apocalyptic bliss.

I remember playing Metro 2033 as an exclusive for the Box and probably one of the better exclusives on it. Disappointed when I heard those crummy ps3 fans were also going to get a taste of it with its sequel, hence I really didn't expect much as many Xbox exclusives which have crossed platforms in the past have failed the transition. Until the trailer had me hooked, it is possibly one of the best I have ever seen in my entire existence. Bought the game, did three playthroughs with different difficulties and 2 modes and loved every minute of it. Now the game is brilliant but still has some flaws which easily be overlooked.

The Good :
- Excellent visuals, post apocalyptic Moscow never looked better.
- Creepy environments and ambiance that sometimes just makes
hair on you neck stand on end.
- Enemy AI is good, they don't just stand there and wait you to riddle
them with bullet holes, they move up, fall back and flank.
- Gameplay is incredible, you can choose to go guns blazing or
take the stealthy approach.
- Stealth kills are amazing with human enemies and cause instant
- Guns are good looking and great sounding, even modding a weapon gives
it some bonus attributes.
- Realism or some aspect of it like you can easily run out of ammo or filters
and medkits, which sometimes aren't readily available.
- The storylines great, some aspects are choice based but it really doesn't
affect the games outcome.
- Amazing bosses and boss fights.
- New mutants and some we already know from the previous game.
- Ranger Mode is little more challenging than the standard modes which
adds a little bit of oomph to your gaming experience by heightening
realism.

The Bad
- Some glitches and bugs take you away from the games immersive factor
like seeing a mutie stuck in the air right after you have pumped it full of
lead.
- A mix of Runglish (Russian and English) is a little disheartening.
- Sometimes running out of ammo isn't a good thing especially when you're
surrounded by mutants, running out of air filters and have to kill them to
pass a certain area.
- Meeleing a mutant is virtually useless unless in stealth mode.
- As visually impressive as this is sometimes when looking at your watch or
something close the visuals seem to be on a coffee break.
