Great game but could be longer. Stays true to Metal Slug roots and continues to be an entertaining saga.

User Rating: 9.2 | Metal Slug Advance GBA
Metal Slug has made a breakthrough on the GBA and it hasn't disappointed veteran Metal Slug players.

Gameplay: Stays true to the gameplay formula and it still is entertaining after all these years. The shoot 'em up genre is always great and Metal Slug Advance hasn't ruined it. The game's boss battles can be hard at some points but it can be conquered and you feel great after doing it.

Graphics: The graphics in this game are good from a certain standpoint as it stays true to it's roots. But, it does feel like it's behind it's potential to be great. Although, I suppose if the graphics were to change, then I would be turned off. So I'm glad they kept true to the originals.

Sound: The sounds from previous games are back and are still great. I loved it and that's all I gotta say 'bout that.

Value: This is the first Metal Slug game for the GBA and it hasn't disappointed me at all. I was actually waiting for a decent Metal Slug game to come out for the GBA and it has arrived.

Tilt: I normally include storyline into my opinion. But since this game has no storyline, I let it slide instead of taking points off because I love it so much. It deserves the 10 i gave it.
