Its a great side scroller for your GBA. The only bad part of the game is that it does'nt have that much variety in levels that its ps1 and arcade counter parts had. And the game does only have 5 missions. You can collect cards that you find during the missions, but its really not that interesting and does'nt add much to re-playability.
The game also has a auto fire on/off option, so thats pretty nifty. You also have choice of two characters : Walter and Tyra.
The game has some nice Action movie like music.
Weapons in Metal Slug Advance include shotguns, Molotov cocktails, machine guns, rocket launchers and more.
If you don't mind its short lifespan then Metal Slug: Advance is a great addition to your GameBoy collection.
