A great expansion to one of the best PSP games of all time.
(and Ac!d) universe.
There is no storyline to speak of here. When you first start the game, you are asked if you want to bring your data from Portable Ops onto Plus. WOW! You can actually bring saved data from the first game to the expansion pack?!?! Yeah! That's why it's called an expansion pack! It EXPANDS the experience! Anyway, bringing you soldiers from Portable Ops also unlocks Boss Rush Mode, which allows you to fight all of the bosses from the game. And yes, if you die, you have to start all over. Doesn't that just suck? The single player of Ops Plus (called INFINITY MISSION) is basicaly you and your squad heading towards objection points to move through levels and complete your mission: which is to recruit soldiers for your growing team. You recruit soldiers just like you did in the original Portable Ops, through kidnapping or GPS scan. There are 4 different difficulty levels to play Infinity Mission - Easy, Medium, Hard, and Extreme. While you can play Ops Plus without the original Ops, it will feel as if you're playing an incomplete game.
The multiplayer is where this game's at. You can play with up to 6 players online. Portable Ops Plus adds new maps to play on (like the incredible fun REX HANGAR), as well as the originals from it's processor. There are new game modes, and throw in some new soldiers like Old Snake, Raiden, the AQUA troops from Ac!d, Venus, and much, much more (and there is much more), gives this game the title of BEST PORTABLE MULTIPLAYER EXPERIENCE ever!!!
