Ground Zero is a great game. I've being playing now for a couple of days and now is when i hit 40% of completion.
Thinks i like:
1- Graphics, even though on ps3 does not looks as good as in ps4 or xbox 1 i got to say im very impress by them.
2- Gameplay: this is my favorite gameplay on the series, is the takes the best of Peace Walker and makes it even better. Enemies are unpredictable and change locations, CQC "the Boss" style and variety of way on how to approach your mission makes this game very addictive and its feels like you just cant get enough of it. Its so much fun that even when there is just 5 mission you play them again and again and it does not gets old.
3- Darker story and interesting prologue got me exited for Phantom Pain
4- this Game shows you how much there is to do in such a relative small map, how much there is to explore and how you can use the environment to complete your mission in a variate of ways. This of course shows the potential that Phantom Pain (which is suppose to me hundred times bigger and adding more gameplay elements such as "time of the day", rea time weather and my favorite Mother Base) can achieve.
5- The protagonist is my favorite Snake of all and the closest to my favorite character of all time The Boss.
What i didn't like:
1- to short for the money, this game takes for granted that people are completionist, if you are not you probably wont play the game as much and miss out on important information.
2- Trying to complete 100% is not as much fun as you might think. It can get frustrating sometimes.
3- Meaning that if you has no interest on completing the game fully you probably can finish it in one day(5 to 6 hours).
Conclusion:
In my opinion this is a great start, it has show me that The Phantom Pain its gonna be an amazing game, probably even revolutionary in many aspects of the game industry and is the Metal Gear game i always wanted after i play metal gear solid 3 which was my first Metal Gear ever.
But the price is way to high, honestly 40 dollars for this? you can say is the cuality and no the time that matters, but still is not worth 40 dollars as it was intented to be in the beginning. I mean there is not even a story in this game and wit will eave you wanting to know whats next, so with 40 dollars less in you pocket you probably would have felt violated.
30 dollars still high. 20 is more acceptable but ill say this game should have cost for all 10 dollars, 15 max. Still like i said its good and i have no regrets. I will still play the game till his big brother comes out.
Note: every time i refer to said game in this review i automatically wrote demo. So i guess in a sense people are right to call it one cause its kind of what i felt like. I love this game but i cant fool myself or anyone else just cause i really like it.
