Tactical Menu Browsing Action

User Rating: 1 | Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D 3DS

Have you ever wanted to play a game that wasn't really a game, but instead a collection of tediousness made to sell a console accessory? Well then MGS:3D is the game for you!

There is a reason this game is being sold for less than $10 when even bad 3DS games and ancient DS games are price fixed at near $40; this is the worst game you can find for this system. If you actually read the content of most reviews for this game you will see how absolutely unplayable this game is, despite this the game gets scores of 8 or higher because the hideo kojima fanbase would gladly bend over and have his babies if they could be little japanese school girls, and he an octopus or tentacle monster.

Why this game sucks: terrible fps problems, bad graphics, unusable controls, a menu for every single action, navigating menus takes a good 4-5 seconds per screen, 70% dialogue 10% game and 20% crap, retarded stealth mecanics and retarded weapon mechanics

Though by far the worst feature in this game is the 100% manual camera, it's the same thing that makes monster hunter on the 3ds almost unplayable, I think they made these two games just to sell the circle pad pro, a useless accessory that only 3 games so far use. The developers could have easily made this game not be a steaming pile of crap by having the camera automatically follow the character, but no that was too much to ask. What makes the manual camera even more aggravating is that the controls and how the character responds to the controls is relative to the camera, which means that some times the game goes full retard and locks the characters orientation and it becomes impossible for you to reorient him in a way that he can shoot where the camera is looking.

So here you have a tactical espionage game where you can't see where you're going, and even if you see, you can't recognize what you're looking at through the pixelated graphics, and if you do recognize what you're looking at, it takes an hour to get to it while fighting the controls and camera that pops in and out of first person and third person view whenever it feels like and god help you if you're spotted by the enemy which will happen because there's no where to hide and good luck trying to hide if you do find a place because the controls are............... do I need to go on?

Do not buy this game. Do not take it even if some one gives it to you for free, it's not worth the headache of even trying to play this, there are plenty of free games out there that are a far better product so free is not even an excuse for this kind of crap anymore.
