The First "Mega Man" Game Is NOT for the Meek, and NOT for the Faint of Heart!

Anybody who tells you that the first "Mega Man" game is easy, is LYING through their teeth! Before the blue bomber came around, video games RARELY, if EVER, got this hard! :O "Donkey Kong" and "Pac-Man" are notable exceptions, but that's because they were games that didn't actually have a real ending. "Mega Man" LITERALLY rewrote the book on how hard video games with actual endings could be! 8) The game draws you in with the premise of seemingly short, looking stages, a surmountable amount of enemies, and six bosses built around obvious themes that could be tackled in any order, but then the game does the bait AND switch, by making a LOT of the enemies move around in mostly unpredictable patterns, and often at very fast speeds! While the game is a bit more forgiving on the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console, as players can create a Restore Point during any stage (and if they mess up at any point in the stage, which will most likely happen a lot, they can go back to the Restore Point and try their luck and skill again); the game definitely will make video game players who are NOT familiar with 8-bit video games, re-think of the often misconceived notion that 8-bit video games are easy! :) The fact of the matter is, a lot of 8-bit video games are NOT easy, and the original "Mega Man" is definitely the prime example to use as to how hard an 8-bit video game can be! It is a video game that CAN be beaten, but the game will DEFINITELY make a video game player (no matter WHAT their skill level) work very hard to EARN the ending of the first "Mega Man" game! It even took ME 22 YEARS to finally beat the game even ONCE! :!: But for video games looking for a super challenge, this is DEFINITELY a video game for a seasoned player! :D Enough said, true believers! ;)
