A really good, game, like you'd expect from a game from it's series, but with some improvements over past MMZ games.

User Rating: 9.1 | Mega Man Zero 3 GBA
Okay, MMZ3. Let me start with a story. I've always loved all megaman games overall. The megaman zero series however i haven't liked as much due to some differences that make it harder to enjoy, but MMZ3 fixed most of those changes, basically made some of the gameplay aspects more like other MMX games. Now, for the actual review...

Gameplay:

This game, as i stated before, has many improvments over the past MMZ's. First of all, what you'll notice, is that you no longer have to level up your weapons, which was always a pain. Sure it could be fun at times but it seriously in my opinion got intensely repetitive. Also, you no longer actually get cyber elves, to get their abilities, you find secret disks, which don't only hold cyber elves, they also hold things like energy crystals, character profiles, and other things. This game also introduces a new weapon to the MMZ series, the recoil rod. It is sort of Z-Saber type thing shaped like a gun, that zero uses in a stabbing type motion. If charged, it can knock enemies far back with a huge force, or aimed down when charged will send you flying up really high, good for reaching higher places. As usual, you get and new fighting style for Zero when you defeat a boss, each with it's own special abilities.

Graphics:

As usual the graphics are really nice. All of the actions look really cool, whether it be the slashing of a saber, or the rapid firing of a buster.

Sound:

The sound is what you'd expect from a good game. Music that fits the situation, really intense battle sound effects. Things like that.

Replay Value:

There is some replay value after you beat it to want to play it over again, it is a pretty fun game. And there's no really big step you had to take such as leveling up that would make you dread having to replay certain parts.

Overall:

If you liked the old MMZ games, then you'll love this one, especially with the several improvments to the others. Lunar out.
