Great megaman game and my very first.
The game is sort of like a gameboy version of megaman x1 and x2. It has 4 x1 bosses and x2 bosses. All of their stages are almost exactly the same but in gameboy graphics. The graphics in this game are really great and decent, expecially for gameboy, although it lacks some color and makes it look bleak. The gameplay is very great. X runs fast as hell and his buster is like a ak-47. The controls are pretty decent, you jump with A, shoot with B, you double tap left or right to dash or press select... Yeah select 0_0 , you must be thinking, it must be hard to jump far from climbing a wall, well you dont have to dash for that because X has amazing distance in this game, like a basketball player or something.
The story is very perplexing, some virus takes over a computer and revives all your past enemies. you first go through easy mode , wich is still frigging hard. Then you beat sigma and then comes hard mode. What do you expect? its gonna be even harder right? no its the same difficulty. So hard mode is the exact same thing but with different bosses, you fight sigma again and you think, dam if i have to do this one more time ima kill myself... then extreme mode comes... SAME exact thing but now its all 8 bosses. And i swear i thought extreme mode was going to be extremely hard but its the same exact thing.
You get the same armor upgrades upgrades from x1 except the charge shot is different. Instead of some pink spreaded blast is this fast *ss fireball from hell that goes super fast and makes a awesome sound affect. You also get unlock some ability where you summon zero and he combos who ever you are facing, but its not like it does great damage on bosses, it just looks cool. You can also get hadouken and shoryuken, but its EXTREMELY hard but its very worth getting it, it does amazing damage and unlike x1, you dont have to press the exact same hadouken combonation as in: down forward punch, you just charge your blast and hold down for hadouken, or hold up for shoryuken, and you dont need full health to use them so its really good, but x doesnt say hadouken when he does it :[
in conclusion, this game is very worth playing and it grows very addicting. There is plenty of things to unlock in this game and this game will keep you busy for a while. This game is very hard and i think capcom did a very good job on this game.

Sound: 7.5/10 - great sound for gameboy but sound a little bad sometimes
Difficulty: 10/10 - frigging hard!
Length: 9/10 - pretty long for a gameboy game
