A great remake of a fantastic game.

In 1993, Mega Man X came out on the Super NES. 13 years later, we now have this remake which will not only attract fans of the original, but newcomers to the Mega Man X universe. If you have played any Mega Man game, then the gameplay and controls will be very familiar to you. Jump, shoot, beat the boss, get his weapon, rinse and repeat. The graphics have been revamped to suit the PSP. There were times i accidentally died looking at something cool looking. The sound is functional, but not spectacular. The remixed music is hit or miss, and one thing i found annoying was the fact that X calls out the name of the weapon he shoots."Shotgun Ice! Electric Spark! Storm Tornado!" When you complete the game as X, you unlock a short anime movie showing how Sigma went renegade, and you also get to play as Vile, an enemy of X. Overall, Mega Man Maverick Hunter X is great remake of one of the greatest games of all time. Any PSP owner should make this a part of their game library.
