A greatly improved remake of a classic platformer.
Gameplay: 10/10 The gameplay is as good as it was back on the SNES. The addition of a new difficulty mode and a new character, add to the overall length and challenge of the game. Once you've finished the game with Mega Man X, you unlock Vile. Who plays much differently than X, and adds a new level of challenge to the gameplay.
Graphics: 9/10
With the addition of a new 3D graphics engine, the game is looking better than ever! Though the gameplay will lag when there is lots on the screen, this does'nt happen often, and the gameplay runs smoothly everywere else. The graphics are stylish and colorful and add new dimensions to the game.
Sound: 8/10
The remixed soundtracks remain true to the original game, with it's hard rock-esque riffs, but has a distinct techno flavor added to it. It doesn't sound as great as the original... But it is really good.
Overall, the game is great, and is worth checking out. While your at it, check out Mega Man: Powered Up. It's just as great, maybe even better. I encourage you to check out both games!
