One video game series that defines what the Nintendo Entertainment System and the 8-bit generation of video games were all about, is undoubtedly, the "Mega Man" video game series! With unpredictable enemies, disappearing and re-appearing platforms, spikes of doom, bosses to fight in ANY order (though some bosses are easier to fight with certain weapons collected first), graphics that show that "Mega Man" brought out some of the best graphically looking games for the NES, and awesome music, sounds, and control, there is no doubt that the first six "Mega Man" games, still stand the test of time, as to just how good a video game franchise could be, when it was made by Capcom! What makes this game worth playing, is that every single game has a database museum, containing little-known info, about all the bad guys and other characters, that appear in every single game! It also includes artwork, including sketch work and concept art, for all six of the "Mega Man" games! While the "Mega Man" games themselves are significantly easier and more forgiving to beat, thanks to the inclusion of both a "Rewind feature" and a handy "Save feature", this game also includes brand new challenges to face in the "Challenge Mode" of this game. Even though most of the challenges seem straight-forward, a lot of them also feature mash-ups between a combination of any or all of the six "Mega Man" games that you have to beat within a set amount of time! Thankfully, these challenges are only optional, but give them a try if you're feeling confidant about your own skill! This is one "Legacy Collection", that definitely deserves to be played! Enough said, true believers!
